5. Venus in Taurus makes the native fond of opposite sex and is much liked by them. Venus in Cancer inclines to wine and women.
6. Venus in Scorpio inclines to wine and women, particularly of the lower rank.
7. Venus in Capricorn: one is too much inclined to the company of the opposite sex and thereby loses in health and spoils the changes of worldly success.
8. Venus in Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces: there may be more than one marriage, in any case, more than one love affair.

9. Venus in the 1st house is good particularly in Taurus, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius and Pisces.

12. Venus in the 5th house: the native is too much given to female company. In any case, he has abundant desires of the heart; their fulfilment or otherwise depending upon the aspect Venus receives. Venus in the 5th house
(a) If free from the affliction of any planet and strong denotes successful termination of one’s love affairs.
(b) If well aspected by Sun in a female nativity and by Moon in a male nativity love affairs would be successful. If, however, Venus is afflicted there may be much hindrance and obstacles in the path of love.
(c) If afflicted, by Mars, leads to excessive emotional development which remains ungratified.
(d) If in conjunction square or opposition to Saturn leads to disappointment in the affairs of the heart; if heavily afflicted there would be much sorrow and lasting unhappiness. To determine the depth of sorrow and unhappiness, make sure that evil influence is not mitigated by any benefit aspect. If Venus be in parallel to Saturn, then also, there is disappointment.
(e) If afflicted by Herschel, love affairs are sudden but there is ultimate frustration; but if Herschel be in trine or sextile there is fruition.
(0 If afflicted by Neptune leads to strange love affairs but there is generally disillusionment coming in their wake.
Venus in the 7th house
the native is inclined to marry early but if Venus is in Scorpio or Capricorn he may form improper connections at an early age.

16. Venus in 7th house well aspected: success socially and financially comes after marriage. Particularly so, if well aspected by Jupiter from 11th house. If Jupiter be in the 9th, wife’s relations may help; if in third there may be gain by one’s own relations, travelling or short-writing, after marriage.

Venus in 8th House
have a tendency to have a secret marriage or elopement which may end in disillusionment and frustration.

29. Venus in 8th house, if well aspected: the native progresses well after marriage. There is considerable improvement in financial affairs. To what extent it would show good effect can be gauged by looking to the strength of Venus and the strength of the aspected planet.

Venus is in the 10th house
particularly near about the meridian cusp, the native would marry well in life, i.e., his wife would come from a high/higher family. This would be particularly so if the lord of the 7th house is also elevated and stronger than the lord of the 1st house.

(c) If applying to Mars, the attraction to friends of the opposite sex is more sensuous that arising out of deep love. If good aspects are formed between the two planets there would be, generally speaking, the fruition of desires, otherwise frustration.
(d) Applying to Jupiter there is much pleasure and even gain from women.
(e) If applying to Saturn causes fatalistic attachments and if afflicted would lead to sadness and sorrow
(f) If applying to Herschel, love affairs and romances come with unexpected suddenness. There is an inexplicable fascination—though this may not be lasting.
(g) If applying to Neptune there would be remarkable love affairs and attachment of “Free love” type, to one with whom there may be much disparity in age or dissimilarity in community or status. If the aspect is unfavorable, disillusionment would follow.
Venus in the 12th house
36. Venus in the 12th house leads to secret love affairs and romances. These will become known if Venus is afflicted by Mars. The native would also spend very heavily on women.
37. Venus in the 12th house leads to marriage or sex indulgence comparatively early in life but the native would have a number of love affairs after marriage also and would get entangled with the opposite sex. (As to age at which the native would marry, look to other indications also and to the Directions favoring matrimony.)
38. Venus in the 12th house if seriously afflicted by Saturn, particularly if Saturn be elevated, would lead to disagreement. If other indications confirm there may be divorce or separation from wife due to the further love affair of the native.
39. Venus in the 12th house in Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn: there are several love affairs.
